More info about thread updates

@BackbayReef is there any way to get more information for the most recent post from this thread overview... Either a username of the last poster in the thread or even preview the response at this level? I find the time stamps, while helpful, to not be enough and I find myself clicking through the threads that I may or may not have already read. Even link highlighting for unread posts would be great too. Thanks!

I think that the last poster on the top right corner makes sense. Thatโ€™s a great suggestion and we will add to the next enhancement pipeline. The preview and the the last unread should already be there under the notification bell, although there is a bug on iOS devices not showing. The team is aware and will be fixing it. Iโ€™m the guinea pig since I need that feature badly as well! lol Keep the suggestions coming โ€” one of this forumโ€™s charters is to cater to its membersโ€™ preferences.

Thanks @BackbayReef ! From my perspective I'm looking at "Recent threads" from the main page to check to see what the latest updates are on the site. So, when looking at the top level view of all threads, I would expect to see hyperlinks for viewed threads as darker and links that are unread as bold/brighter to differentiate if there are updates to a thread that I haven't read. As of now I have to remember myself if I viewed a thread since the last posted time, and have no visual indicator of unread threads. Hopefully that makes sense.

Iโ€™m on fixed income so can relate. I can only afford 18k torch but as you know, price of gold went up recently so just settle for bronze/silver torches?

This should be complete. added who posted and time stamp. when clicking on the time stamp it will take you to that post. In addition added a jump to newest button at top of thread and also going to add a jump to first unread. front page will show a dot and highlighted when you haven't read the post. Once read it will "un bold" and no more dot. Thanks for the feedback. going to make this better and better!

We want this to be used and the user experience is key to that. @BackbayReef was testing with me but the more eyes we have on it the better. Thanks for the suggestion, locking this thread
