Robert wasn’t just a presence in our hobby; he was a light. A phenomenal father, devoted husband, true friend, patient teacher, gifted artist, and lifelong student of the ocean and of life itself. If you ever had the joy of knowing him, you know how impossible it was not to become his friend. His warmth, humor, and genuine care touched so many of us, both through his content and in person.
