Red Sea Reefer 350 - Keeping rolling the dice or replace?
I know Red Sea tank failures have been well-documented, and apparently 2019 RSR 350 tanks were highlighted as having a higher failure rate. I do happen to fall under the belief that the failure rate could very well be perception since Red Sea holds a majority of market share of tanks from this time. I got mine in 2018 brand new and it's been going strong with no signs of bubbling, etc at the seams ever since.
My question is of the failures that people have seen first hand, how many failed without any indication? Is 8 years of uptime past the margin of error, or should I just break it down and figure out a replacement? Opinions welcome.
Don't really have the luxury of time to replace it, but safety is more important now that I have an infant in the house.
