Free Frags in Encino

The title says it all. This is the first post in the coral forum. And the first post should be to remind everyone that this hobby will survive and thrive if we all "pay it forward!" My wife and I have 2 outdoor 180g frag tanks. We don't sell anything, ever. If you are starting a tank, if you just had a crash. Come to us to get your first corals in the tank before dropping coinage for color. You never know what we are going to have on hand.... Acropora, Montipora, Euphyllia, GSP, Xenia, Chaeto. But we always have something to help a fellow hobbyist out. If you have your own lil frag, and that lil frag is interested in their own aquarium, then bring them on by. We have spare equipment, and sometimes spare fish to help get a new hobbyist addicted to this hobby as fast as possible. My wife and I support over 20 classroom aquariums in Southern California. If you are a teacher, or have a student in a classroom with a saltwater aquarium, then hit us up for donations. We have donated everything from Nemo(s) to 260g compete reef systems donated to us by reefers who have gone to the big skimmer in the sky. And if you see, hear, or visit us and see something that we say isn't available. Don't offer us $$, we don't want it. For things we get rare or unique we will happily trade for something we don't currently have to pay forward. Usually in the first or second weekend of November we will have an open house frag clearout. Watch for those posts. For kids, first responders, vets they get first choice on Saturday to help bump up their reefs before the holidays. Sunday we open house to all local hobbyists. And like I said at the start, Pay it Forward. For those of us not starting out, and established, we all have those corals that no matter what - do well for us.Reach out to me and let me know what you have, and my wife and I will make sure your success in reefkeeping is paid forward to as many people as possible.
