๐ง Build Contributor80/20 stands
Looking at acquiring a tank with a busted stand and waterbox quoted 3500 which is ridiculous. Looks like an 80/20 would be around 1k and a wood stand to a decent trim level would be probably around 500ish.
Questions about 80/20 stands.... how are y'all skinning the stand and any tips/tricks when ordering? Looks like I can save a significant amount buy buying off FB marketplace. Is it hard to cut? I'm lost on this one.... build specs below

- I buy pretty much all my hardware from Tnutz. I did order black anodized extrusion from them once and it looked like they dropped it several times and never cleaned the saw, there were so many marks that I returned the extrusion. But that may have been a one time thing? I think if youโre ordering clear anodized extrusion, then youโre fine. I did have 8020.net cut and mill my light racks in black, which turned out nicely. But Tnutz is usually my first stop when looking for 8020 related stuff.
