Thanks. I’m more of a fish guy - corals are merely “decorations”. lol That Achilles Tang has been with me for 4 years and the last fish added. He had zero ich up until 6 months ago. I got really worried but didn’t panic — ich went away on its own, no UV. I have a spare 40W UV and I’ll be installing one soon. Anyway, so far so good —knock on e-wood!

Just made 2.3gal’ish of AFR. Alk is at 7.8dKH so dosing 30mL/day to keep steady. I’m dosing at night to get a little more pH.

Doing 2 doses at 15mL/each. Will be interesting to see how things go after a few months. If no improvement in terms of growth / color, I’ll turn the CaRx back online and go from there.

Alk is at 7.3dKH - yikes! I’ve increased the dose to 50mL/day, spread across 24hrs. Planted more SPS frags today
