Kamoer FX-STP3?

I’m currently running 2 Kamoer FX-STP2 pumps (one for CaRx, one for sulfur denitrator). They are awesome - very dependable, quiet, and remotely controllable. I’m looking to get a third one to gradually dose kalk throughout the day. There is a new version of this pump on AliExpress: a.aliexpress.com/_mqsHAXN I don’t see support for this new pump in the app so it’s a risk. Have you guys tried this?

Looks like US vendors are carrying the stp3 now but hey - what’s up with the Chinese screenshot? lol I actually don’t like the connectors facing up, obstructing the controls once the tubings are installed. Then again, it should not matter since adjustments are not frequent and done via the app anyway. Anyone testing this yet? Funny on their description: “Ideal for calcium reactors, kalk reactors, and sulfur denitrators” I got all three!!! 😀 aquacave.com/kamoer-fx-stp-3-wifi-continuous-du…

As an update - the STP3 arrived today. Network installation was super easy vs the old version. Not that it matters to most people but the STP3 can now do 150mL/min vs the 120mL/min before. Somehow, I saw the 168mL/min on the display though. Anyway - I won’t be hitting that limitation but just curious. This new pump will drive my K2 Kalk Stirrer so will update this group how things go…

I think the guts of that unit are the same as the hydros sole. I run two of them ‘solely’ for dosing kalk and they’ve been bulletproof

Nice. For peristaltic needs, these units have served me well. They are a workhorse and super quiet. I bought several feet of the replacement tubing and Molykote for easy replacement. For fixed amount dosing via a schedule, I like my DOS (the UI is a little cumbersome, imo) since all dosing data is within Fusion for ease of admin & visualization.
