We're officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! 🎉

Big news, reefers: the IRS has approved West Coast Reefers as a 501(c)(3) public charity! What it means:

• Donations to the club are tax-deductible, to the extent allowed by law. Our exemption is effective all the way back to our founding on Aug 24, 2026.
• Donations go back into the club: keeping the site free, meetups and frag swaps, contests and workshops.
• Local businesses can sponsor the club and be recognized for it.

Donations aren't open just yet. We're finishing up the club bank account and state registration, and we'll post here as soon as they are.
