I've been doing a lot of research on aluminum extrusion trying to build a cantilever stand for my lights. would've been easier had i gone with an aluminum extrusion tank stand, but decided to save a few bucks. pretty sure it'll still work out, but it's just a lot of work. I'm also thinking of buying a stand i can disassemble. 🤣 or I'll reach out to Richard's guy... idk. so much work.

I remember seeing the Flex in person. I really liked the look and thought they would provide good coverage and minimize shading. It doesn't look like they're available. The new quanta altair panel light looks promising. I might need wait to compare. But what do I do in the meantime? I have an empty tank and want new fish and coral. 🤣

By the way, it's ok to talk about other lights too. 🤣 I'm looking to light up a 6 foot frag tank.

drove a uhaul to pick up a tank at sea side. it's going to sit in my front yard until you guys come over tomorrow😊 seriously, I should have enough help, but if anyone is available to stop by diamond bar around 3-4, why not ? dm me. you can take home a free indo gold torch or hammer. I'll also be grilling carne asada and hot dogs so we can chill and talk reef. I'd like to have everyone over once the new tank is up and running too. I'll kyp on that.

I use one, love it, and need another. I'm setting up a new tank! please count me in for group buy. would be awesome to get a deal. in my case, aquawiz tests alk hourly, doses alk supplement when needed (i also dose kalkwasser separately), and alerts me when alk is too high or low, or when supplement is running low. oh and I do compare against hanna here and there. #s are usually the same.

I cleared up some space in my tank and added some very cool new pieces from @BackbayReef 🤣 tank flow is awesome after removing two huge colonies. also moved some stuff around cleaned a gyre, cleaned the glass, and now my back hurts. I'll leave the nem tank for tomorrow.

I like coral names so I can compare pricing and get the best deal on the coral I like. I haven't bought a coral I already own, yet, but it's bound to happen🤣 oh and count me in for a group buy.

I also use reefi uno 2s at home and at coral shows for the reasons many of you have already mentioned. I prefer the blues. I also use a quanta helix bar on my main display and will be setting up a keloray light on a 36" shallow tank soon so I'll keep you posted on that. It's great that we have so many options and more to come.

Reef Factory in Placentia is my go to for everything. Coral, fish, inverts... Plus Sean (owner) is a great guy. Very knowledge and generous. I stop by for coral all the time and recently picked up a china pearl wrasse. It's very active and eating mysis. Definitely check them out. I included a pic. Wasn't able to upload video for some reason.

I use an ecoflow delta 2 to run pumps in an emergency. it also keeps my wifi on. works great.

I have that brand too. can't remember if my fish didn't like it or if i didn't because it was too thin or breaks up easily? it's in my fridge so I'll try again tomorrow. I'll put them both on clips to see which one my fish finish first. 😁

I have a bunch of stickers that came with my orders. i don't like putting them on stuff but also don't want to throw them away. now i know they'll make the perfect gift for that special someone @Ndrwater 😆

one 7x4 inch sheet daily folded up tightly. mostly for my foxface (pic below) but everybody eats it. when I'm out of town I use an automatic feeder to feed pellets or flakes instead.
